1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Alabarika marketplace, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our platform is designed to connect verified Service Providers (Artisans) with Clients in a secure, transparent environment.
2. The Alabarika Escrow Protocol
To eliminate the risk of non-payment or sub-standard work, all financial transactions are processed through our proprietary Escrow Protocol:

Job Funding:
Once a bid is accepted, the Client must fund the job. Funds are held securely by Alabarika and are not released to the Provider until work is marked complete.

Work Authorization:
Service Providers must not begin work until they receive the "Job Funded" notification. Alabarika cannot guarantee payment for work started before escrow is funded.

Release of Funds:
Funds are released to the Provider's wallet upon Client approval of the work. If the Client fails to respond within 72 hours of work completion, Alabarika reserves the right to release funds automatically.
3. Professional Integrity & Safety
Alabarika is a community of professionals. The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of account access:
Off-Platform Payments
Attempting to bypass escrow by paying directly via MoMo or cash is a violation of safety protocols.
Contact Sharing
Sharing personal phone numbers or social links in public job descriptions to circumvent platform communication.
4. Dispute Resolution Mechanism
In the event of a conflict, our Dispute Officers will review the project brief, chat transcripts, and submitted evidence (photos/documents). Their decision is final and binding. Evidence not shared via the Alabarika Chat system will not be considered during mediation.
Important Notice for Providers
Earnings in your Alabarika Wallet can be cashed out at any time to your registered Mobile Money or Bank account. All withdrawals are subject to a standard audit check (max 24 hours) to verify the legitimacy of the service rendered.
